Economic Update: Trade Impact of U.S. Election [Webinar]

Tuesday, October 20, 2020
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM ET

From health care to tariffs, to unemployment, to trade wars, the role of the U.S. government in the economy is front and center with the whole world watching. When Americans cast their votes on November 3, the fate of the economy will swing left or right and determine the size of the federal government. Depending on the results, what will it mean for the local and global economy? How will it affect your business?

During this webinar, our Global Head of Research, Alexis Garatti, and North American Chief Economist, Dan North, will dive into the potential trade impact of the election and what it means for businesses across the world. This discussion will provide a unique, nonpartisan perspective that combines both a local and global outlook and economic research.

What you'll learn:

- An easy-to-follow summary of the economy pre-election.
- How the election could affect the economy.
- What economic outlook means for North American businesses.
- Developments in consumption, housing, manufacturing, financial market, and employment.

Have a specific question about the economy? There will be a live Q&A at the end, so make sure to submit your question now!
